NEWS about BUCK!T . . .
The Tour Down Under 2015 is under way here in Adelaide with both a women's and men's event this year. As usual, in the week leading up to the event, it's a great chance to ride with the pro teams as they head out from the hotel each day for their training rides and reconnaissance of the TDU's parcours.
I rode with GIANT Alpecin on one such day, alongside ex-Adelaidean, Jayson O'Mahoney (aka. Gravel Cyclist) who nows lives state-side. At the coffee-stop, he took this photo of me comparing beards with Simon Geschke (and Marcel Kittel piped up in the background, saying that we should both just shave them off!)
After the madness of Christmas (and all those markets!), it's been really good to take some time off, have a little fun and get some miles in the legs too!

It's TDU time in Adelaide!
Since we released our first range of watches at local markets and events in the lead up to Christmas 2014, they have been getting quite a bit of attention!
We've been pairing up pre-loved watch-faces with our handmade, upcycled watchbelts; resulting in unique time-pieces that embody our sustainable ethos.
Jayson O'Mahoney known by many as his alter-ego Gravel Cyclist, placed an order for a custom watch to take home with him to the states; and we came up with this black Pebble smart-watch, fitted with a Vittoria Pavé green/black watchbelt which neatly references the tough roads ridden by Jayson in his exploits on a bike.

Since the BikeRumor article went live, we've been inundated with orders and inquiries for belts, watchbelts and watches...not that we're complaining!
This colourful watch combined a Pebble smart-watch with a funky orange Continental Competition watchbelt, commissioned by a local Personal Trainer.
We now have over 30 different watch-faces in stock, ranging through vintage, classic, modern and high-tech (like the pebble shown here!).
We also have a wide range of watchbelts available to fit to your existing favourite watch; bringing it back to life with the character and texture of bike-rubber!
