...previously, from BUCK!T bicycle tyre belts...

The word has been getting around the peleton and some of the professional cyclists have been ordering belts for themselves and their friends / family.

Fumy Beppu (TREK Factory Racing), Steve Morabito (BMC) and Fränk Schleck (TREK Factory Racing) are the latest pro-riders to purchase BUCK!T belts made from the very tyres that they're sponsored to ride in the World Tour circuit.

Steve's Continental Competition tubular belt is a new, wider variation using this tubular, and has the branding at the belt-tail for added detail.

In addition to all the TDU fun and games, we were are very lucky to bump into the original man-mountain, Sir Chris Hoy, the track Worlds and Olympic legend!

Those of you with a sharp eye would have noticed a recently added logo on our site-banner. We have signed up our website to a new initiatve that means that all use of the site has been rendered carbon-neutral, including your energy consumption as a visitor . . . marvelous!!

The lovely people at The Advertiser have once again shown their support of local businesses, publishing an article about how BUCK!T got started and what we're all about as a business.

"I'm a small footprint kind of guy and recycling makes sense to me so this was a great way to tie together my way of living (and trying to be green) with other people...almost without them realising it."

It might sound a bit covert, but as we said to the interviewer, "if upcycled and recycled is in fashion, then it's good for us and for the planet!"

We're back in the press!
« . . . 8 7 6 . . . »

We've been meaning to try this one out for a few months now, and finally got around to making a sample, which seems to have been getting a lot of attention on twitter and facebook!

We choose the flattest and softest tyres for these mini belts to ensure a comfortable fit and the junction is made with a chicago-screw for a smooth finish. The look is completed with our familiar branded-keeper-detail and a lovely solid-metal D-ring holds the strap-end from flapping about too.

Available online and in stores soon...

Other exciting news is that we've been accepted to the next edition of the Bowerbird Bazaar to be held at the Adelaide Showgrounds on the weekend of the 2nd-4th May 2014 - put it in your diaries if you'll be in Adelaide then!
